🎯 The Role
As a Senior UI Engineer at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, you will be responsible for developing highly responsive, reusable, and accessible UI components. This role involves building scalable enterprise-level software, optimizing front-end applications, and integrating with various APIs and microservices. You will also contribute to architectural understanding and best practices adoption.

💼 What You'll Do
- Develop highly responsive, reusable, and accessible UI components using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI screens based on UX designs and product specifications.
- Optimize front-end applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
- Build reusable UI modules and evolve shared component libraries/design systems.
- Work with QA to automate UI testing and ensure high-quality releases.
- Troubleshoot production UI issues and provide L3 support when needed.
- Plan and develop entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals.
- Build reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions.
- Ensure solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow.
- Review engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability.
- Participate in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.
- Mentor junior developers and identify new talent.
✅ What You'll Need
- Strong experience with React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience integrating frontends with APIs or data-driven interfaces.
- Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Experience with Redux/Redux Toolkit or other state-management frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, streaming APIs.
- Understanding of UI performance, accessibility, and usability considerations.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jira.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with REST, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
