🎯 The Role

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in the transformation of Rates and Credit Fixed Income technology landscape. You will be responsible for building a suite of new, real-time, high-performance applications supporting various trading workflows, architecting solutions across the stack, and working closely with business stakeholders.

💼 What You'll Do

• Develop high-performance, real-time user interfaces including live-pricing grids, trade blotters, and order-entry systems
• Drive frontend-first solution design by collaborating with back-end engineers on APIs, WebSocket streams, and data contracts
• Engage directly with business stakeholders and traders to gather UI/UX requirements and deliver impactful features
• Champion frontend engineering best practices in architecture, state management, performance optimization, testing, and CI/CD
• Contribute to UI platform modernization by migrating legacy interfaces to modern frameworks
• Unblock integrations with backend systems using working knowledge of Java (nice-to-have)

✅ What You'll Need

• Expertise in modern UI frameworks, specifically React and TypeScript, with deep understanding of component lifecycles and performance
• Deep expertise in modern frontend tooling including Vite, monorepo management (Nx), and modern package managers
• Hands-on experience with real-time data streaming using WebSockets, SSE, and reactive programming (RxJS)
• Track record of robust test automation with Jest/Vitest and Playwright
• Strong understanding of distributed architectures (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and RESTful/streaming APIs
• Cross-stack capability with Docker, Kubernetes, and working knowledge of Java and SQL (nice-to-have)
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and solve business problems responsibly

🌟 Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of Java to navigate backend codebases and understand SQL schemas
• Experience deploying frontend applications using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in production
• Familiarity with AI tools to optimise workflows and solve business problems
