🎯 The Role

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at LinkedIn, you will join the team building and scaling core learning platforms. This position is predominantly frontend-focused (roughly 70% UI architecture and 30% backend services), where you will shape user-facing web interfaces with React and TypeScript while ensuring clean integration with Java-based backend services.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build scalable, user-centric web applications designed to operate reliably 24x7 at massive traffic scale
• Architect modular frontend components using React and TypeScript, leveraging native CSS layouts rather than off-the-shelf component libraries alone
• Develop and extend high-throughput Java REST APIs and backend microservices that supply data to client experiences
• Evaluate synchronous and asynchronous design patterns to make thoughtful architectural trade-offs
• Elevate engineering standards through rigorous peer code reviews, continuous delivery pipelines, and comprehensive automated testing
• Mentor team members and interns, fostering engineering growth and productivity

✅ What You'll Need

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience across web applications and backend systems
• Deep fluency in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript execution models, semantic HTML, and CSS fundamentals
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful services in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong command of data structures, algorithms, and scalable software design principles
• Experience building multi-tier applications with high availability and resilience requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
