🎯 The Role

The LinkedIn Learning Solutions Engineering team in Bengaluru is a ground-up, AI-first organization building systems and experiences that connect skills, education, and career development across LinkedIn Learning and enterprise Career Hub platforms. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer (UI), you will define the technical vision, drive client-side architecture, and mentor engineering teams building next-generation AI-powered web applications.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and own frontend systems for LinkedIn's AI-first workforce learning and career progression products.
• Translate complex product visions into high-performance, accessible, and delightful user interfaces.
• Guide cross-functional teams through technical design reviews, system architecture proposals, and technology evaluations.
• Set high standards for code craftsmanship, automated testing, and developer tooling across the engineering org.
• Serve as an architectural mentor and technical coach for frontend engineers across multiple product teams.
• Partner with AI/ML, backend, and infrastructure teams to design performant data contracts and low-latency API interactions.
• Resolve cross-team technical bottlenecks and establish long-term engineering strategies.

✅ What You'll Need

• 12+ years of industry experience in frontend software architecture, web application engineering, and UI systems.
• Deep mastery of JavaScript, CSS, semantic HTML, and DOM optimization techniques.
• Extensive hands-on experience building large-scale applications with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Ember, or Angular.
• Proven track record of architecting performant, accessible, and secure consumer-facing web experiences.
• Strong leadership presence with proven experience driving technical alignment across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Advanced knowledge of Ember.js framework internals and architecture.
• Experience designing or integrating with Java-based backend services and public API platforms.
