🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Microsoft Advertising Web UI team, you will build modern, accessible, scalable, and AI-powered frontend experiences. You will take end-to-end ownership of features that enable global advertisers to plan, launch, analyze, and optimize digital advertising campaigns at massive scale.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect, code, test, and maintain robust Web UI solutions for Microsoft Advertising using React and TypeScript.
• Own product capabilities end-to-end, managing dependencies across distributed partner engineering teams.
• Introduce and leverage AI-first development workflows to improve engineering productivity and code correctness.
• Champion frontend performance, web accessibility (WCAG), and resilience across all customer-facing surfaces.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to reinforce engineering best practices, security, and test coverage.
• Monitor live-site health through telemetry dashboards and drive root-cause analysis during production incidents.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of technical software engineering experience developing production applications.
• Strong proficiency in building scalable web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern React.
• Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and modular system design.
• Proven experience establishing testing architectures across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with experience delivering complex technical projects across cross-functional teams.

• Experience architecting modular frontend platforms, micro-frontends, or shared design component libraries.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, distributed backends, REST APIs, or GraphQL integrations.
• Understanding of feature flighting, staged rollouts, and client-side performance instrumentation.
