The Microsoft Advertising Campaign UI team is embarking on a multi-year transformation to modernize its advertiser experience through next-generation web architectures and AI-driven workflows. As a Principal Software Engineer (IC6), you will lead the technical vision, shared frameworks, and frontend scalability across multiple engineering teams in Redmond.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture and implementation of large-scale advertiser management web applications
- Drive technical solutions that enhance platform scalability, web performance, and developer efficiency
- Collaborate with product and design partners to architect intuitive, AI-accelerated workflows
- Build reusable platform frameworks, UI conventions, and tooling to elevate team-wide velocity
- Steer architecture reviews, define long-term technical roadmaps, and mitigate technical debt
- Mentor senior engineers across the organization and establish frontend engineering excellence
✅ What You'll Need
- 8+ years of technical engineering experience across modern web and software systems
- Deep expertise in frontend engineering with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Proven track record of leading cross-team architectural decisions and technical roadmaps
- Experience building shared UI platforms, developer tooling, or design system infrastructure
- Strong ability to influence technical direction across engineering, product, and design leadership
- Experience with high-traffic enterprise SaaS or digital advertising platforms
