🎯 The Role
Microsoft is looking for a Software Engineer II to join the Copilot Search team in Hyderabad. You will build AI-powered search experiences at global scale, reimagining how people find their work using React and TypeScript.

💼 What You'll Do
- Design, build and ship Copilot Search features end to end in React and TypeScript
- Build performant, accessible and localized user interfaces across web, desktop and mobile
- Drive web performance through server-side rendering, hydration and bundle-size reduction
- Integrate AI-generated answers with streaming responses and citations
- Instrument features with telemetry and run A/B experiments
- Own reliability including monitoring, alerting and on-call rotation
- Partner with product managers, designers and backend engineers
✅ What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years coding experience (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python) OR equivalent
- Solid experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript
- Strong web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, browser rendering, web performance, SSR
- Experience with large-scale web applications, telemetry, and A/B experimentation
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards
- Experience with LLM or AI-powered features
- Live-site operations and on-call experience
