🎯 The Role
As a Senior Software Development Engineer - Web, you will own and lead critical user-facing advertising features and playback integrations across the JioHotstar website and TV web applications. You will deliver high-performance interactive components, maintain strict operational excellence, and optimize web delivery for memory- and network-constrained devices.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of user-facing ad features across web and connected TV surfaces.
- Ensure technical feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation of complex UI/UX designs.
- Contribute reusable code, cross-functional libraries, and primitives to JioStar's in-house Design System.
- Optimize client-side memory footprint and runtime execution for low-spec smart devices and high-latency networks.
- Mentor mid-level and junior software engineers, upholding high standards for code quality and test coverage.
✅ What You'll Need
- 4-7 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer with deep, hands-on mastery of JavaScript and browsers.
- In-depth understanding of browser rendering engines, network waterfall analysis, and performance profiling.
- Strong command of modern frameworks, architecture patterns, and design system engineering.
- Solid track record of owning features from initial system design through production deployment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
🌟 Nice to Have
- Prior experience in video advertising (VAST, VPAID, client-side ad insertion) or digital media streaming.
- Open-source contributions or active participation in the web standards ecosystem.
