🎯 The Role

Senior Software Developer (Full-Stack, Frontend-Leaning) on the TEAR team's Billing POD. You'll own the systems that turn Confluent Cloud usage into accurate billing. This role leans frontend-heavy but involves full-stack contributions.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, Redux, TypeScript
• Backend: Go, Java, or similar
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Kafka, Postgres, Grafana, OpenSearch
• Cloud: AWS/GCP/Azure

💼 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate billing, usage, and invoicing frontends
• Contribute to backend metering pipelines
• Own features end-to-end with high quality and reliability
• Ensure data correctness and idempotency in high-volume systems
• Participate in design reviews, PR reviews, and on-call

✅ What You'll Need

• 2+ years software engineering with frontend depth
• Strong React, Redux, TypeScript skills
• Proficiency in a statically typed language (Go, Java, etc.)
• Cloud-native and distributed systems understanding
• Data integrity focus

• Frontend craft mindset with UX quality focus
• Experience with billing, metering, payments, or financial systems
