🎯 The Role

The Billing POD within the TEAR team owns the end-to-end systems that transform platform cloud usage into accurate, reliable invoicing and billing pipelines. This role is full-stack with a major emphasis on frontend engineering—you will dedicate most of your focus to developing rich, reliable billing and usage interfaces in React, Redux, and TypeScript, while contributing to the Go backend services and data pipelines behind them.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and deliver core frontend user interfaces for metering, usage analysis, rating, and invoicing.
• Build and maintain backend microservices and streaming pipelines supporting the billing lifecycle.
• Take full end-to-end ownership of feature delivery from technical design to rollout and production monitoring.
• Ensure strict precision, idempotency, and auditability across large-scale event processing systems.
• Participate in architectural reviews, write technical design documents, and contribute to team operational playbooks.

✅ What You'll Need

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep expertise in frontend architecture.
• Strong proficiency creating complex web applications with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of backend languages such as Go, Java, or C++ and familiarity with distributed microservices.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• High attention to detail regarding data integrity, auditing, and automated testing.
• Active legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

• Prior experience building billing, payments, usage-based metering, or fintech software.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures utilizing Apache Kafka or Apache Flink.
