🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer within the Cloud UI group, you will focus on building interactive interfaces and data visualizations for managing large-scale distributed event streams on Apache Kafka. In this role, you will take ownership of turning complex, real-time data flows into performant, intuitive dashboards used by developers and infrastructure operators globally.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and deliver clean, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript tailored for high-volume streaming data displays.
• Evaluate API contracts with backend engineers to guarantee UI speed and fluid user experiences under real-time data loads.
• Convert UX specifications and design systems into reusable, maintainable frontend components.
• Write extensive unit and integration tests with Jest to back continuous daily deployments to production.
• Investigate browser performance bottlenecks, monitor frontend health services, and troubleshoot operational production issues.
• Contribute to team code reviews and build internal tooling that streamlines developer velocity.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4 to 6 years of proven professional experience building and maintaining complex web frontends.
• Advanced expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript along with modern web development standards.
• Strong practical experience consuming and integrating RESTful and GraphQL endpoints.
• Solid grasp of build and module tooling including Webpack and Babel.
• Dedication to automated testing, performance profiling, and resilient frontend operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience building data-intensive dashboards, charting interfaces, or distributed systems monitoring tooling.
• Familiarity with performance testing, Core Web Vitals, and browser telemetry services.
• Exposure to LLM-powered workflows, agentic AI patterns, or developer-facing tooling.
