🎯 The Role
HSBC is hiring a ReactJS / Consultant Specialist in Pune to guide technical design and architecture for core enterprise platforms. In this senior technical leadership position, you will drive frontend modernization, lead cross-functional agile PODs, and champion engineering standards for scalable, maintainable web systems. While the primary focus is ReactJS and modern user interfaces, you will also interface with enterprise microservices built in Java and Spring Boot.

💼 What You'll Do
- Own frontend technical architecture and establish design patterns for digital banking applications
- Lead and mentor an agile POD, driving business deliverables through sound technical strategy
- Build, modernize, and maintain scalable user interfaces with ReactJS and component-driven standards
- Collaborate with backend engineers on microservices integration using Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST protocols
- Drive DevOps automation and performance profiling using tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and AppDynamics
- Review code and design deliverables to ensure compliance with enterprise security, accessibility, and scalability standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production incidents, conducting comprehensive root-cause analysis
✅ What You'll Need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in ReactJS and modern JavaScript
- Practical experience with backend development using Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and JUnit
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage module delivery, estimate sprints, and guide agile teams
- Working knowledge of DevOps and code quality tools including Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, SonarQube, and Splunk
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills for distributed enterprise systems
- Experience collaborating effectively with global engineering and business stakeholders
- Ability to work from the Pune office under HSBC's hybrid working policy
