🎯 The Role

As a React UI Lead (Band 6), you will be a cornerstone of the Trade IT team. You'll be responsible for converting complex user stories into high-performance, real-time software. This role combines technical excellence in frontend architecture with leadership responsibilities, including team capability development and stakeholder management.

• React JS & TypeScript
• Node.js & Web Components
• SCSS, CSS3, & HTML5
• WebSockets for real-time data
• CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Git)
• Testing: Cypress, Jasmine, Karma

💼 What You'll Do

• Build and deliver scalable software using modern frameworks and design patterns.
• Develop low-latency processing solutions within an agile delivery environment.
• Brainstorm and suggest design solutions based on specific product requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-location teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure all software artifacts meet governance and control process standards.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8-10 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Mastery of the React ecosystem and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and developing REST API platforms (Apigee/APIM).
• Proven ability to manage modules from concept to completion.
• Strong background in Unix/Linux and Agile methodologies.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience converting SOAP services to REST.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger and YAML.
• Experience in a highly regulated banking or financial services environment.
