🎯 The Role

As a Staff Software Engineer in the Healthcare Advanced Imaging Solutions group, you will spearhead the frontend architecture and implementation of graphics-intensive, secure web applications for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. You will build reusable component systems in Angular or React, integrate high-throughput WebSocket data streams, and interface browser runtimes with WebAssembly and native computing components.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and engineer modular, graphics-rich user interfaces and reusable component libraries using Angular and React.
• Build real-time clinical workflows integrating WebSocket messaging and RESTful backend architectures.
• Optimize web client rendering performance and memory management for advanced medical imaging datasets.
• Collaborate with native engineering teams to connect WebAssembly components with underlying C++ and Qt services.
• Champion frontend engineering rigor, conducting design reviews, authoring automated test suites, and resolving browser performance bottlenecks.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience focusing on frontend web technologies.
• Comprehensive expertise in Angular and/or React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience integrating applications with REST APIs, WebSocket services, and token authentication.
• Proven background writing automated unit, component, and end-to-end frontend tests.
• Strong proficiency with browser developer tools, memory profiling, and client-side performance analysis.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Practical experience with WebAssembly (Wasm) or interfacing with C++ / Qt binaries.
• Familiarity with medical device standards, clinical workflows, or healthcare protocols (DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
• Experience with real-time data visualization or mobile web applications.
