🎯 The Role

As a Staff Software Engineer, Frontend at Procore, you will be a key technical leader within the Owners organization, driving the technical direction of projects that impact global communities. This role involves partnering with Engineering, Product, and UX teams to design and build innovative, data-rich solutions, particularly focusing on executive-level dashboards within a React micro-frontend architecture. You will leverage your deep frontend expertise to enhance technical projects and make a significant impact on the construction industry.

💼 What You'll Do

• Contribute to designing and building systems aligned with the technical vision.
• Work with TypeScript and React to create consistent and intuitive user experiences.
• Build executive-level dashboard experiences for customers managing multiple projects at scale.
• Deliver data-rich dashboards, including interactive tables, heatmap visualizations, and timeline views, within a React micro-frontend (MFE) architecture.
• Reduce customer reliance on spreadsheets by centralizing visibility into a single experience.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Product, and API teams to ship performant, accessible, and durable features.
• Communicate complex problems and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate across engineering teams on large-scale initiatives to connect everyone in construction on one global platform.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, with at least 2 years operating at a Staff or Principal level (or equivalent scope and impact).
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including component design patterns, performance optimization, and large-scale application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Micro Frontend architectures (e.g., module federation, single-spa), including cross-MFE communication and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of browser-native event systems and pub/sub patterns as applied to decoupled UI systems.
• Track record of defining or significantly influencing frontend platform standards adopted across multiple teams.
• Experience building dashboard or widget-based UIs with dynamic layout engines (e.g., grid libraries, drag-and-drop, user-configurable layouts).
• Demonstrated ability to scope ambiguous, large-scale projects and drive them to completion across team boundaries.
