🎯 The Role

Procore is looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer - Frontend to join the Hubs Platform engineering group within the Product & Technology team in Bengaluru. In this staff-level leadership position, you will drive the architectural evolution of the Hubs Platform—the mission-critical UI runtime that powers personalized, highly customizable experiences for every Procore user worldwide.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect, develop, and maintain the frontend runtime platform for Hubs using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Design scalable microfrontend architectures and enhance templating engines, enabling teams across Procore to build UI experiences rapidly and reliably.
• Formulate and communicate architectural designs through technical design documents, RFCs, and collaborative discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering leadership across global organizations to deliver foundational platform initiatives connecting the construction industry.
• Champion engineering standards, best practices, and operational rigor to maintain 99.99% service uptime.
• Provide technical mentorship and career guidance to senior and junior software developers.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience specializing in frontend web architecture, system design, and API integration.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and web runtime environments.
• Proven experience architecting microfrontends, component frameworks, or frontend developer platforms at enterprise scale.
• Strong background in test-driven development (TDD), production reliability, and operational alerting systems.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in guiding large-scale technical roadmaps, writing design proposals, and aligning cross-team stakeholders.
• Experience working productively with globally distributed engineering teams.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with fullstack technologies including Node.js and Ruby on Rails.
• Proven background creating developer platforms, plugin ecosystems, or UI runtime SDKs.
• Experience modernizing CI/CD infrastructure for deterministic build and deployment pipelines.
