🎯 The Role

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Intuit Credit Karma team in Bengaluru, you will drive technical strategy and architecture across client SDKs, experiment management platforms, and distributed backend services. You will partner with engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to solve complex technical challenges, establish high engineering standards, and mentor the team.

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the technical design and implementation of frontend web applications and experiment management interfaces.
• Build and scale high-throughput, low-latency internal and customer-facing APIs in TypeScript and Scala/Java.
• Research, design, and incorporate advanced A/B testing and experimentation methodologies into core services.
• Provide architecture reviews, technical mentoring, and guidance to elevate engineering team capabilities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data Science to deliver impactful product solutions.
• Drive continuous operational improvements, root cause analyses, and production system hardening.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience with deep expertise in frontend and full-stack development.
• Proven proficiency building responsive, state-heavy web frontends with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and operating distributed microservice architectures using Scala, Java, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on background with GraphQL APIs, RESTful services, and SaaS application ecosystems.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring skills, and ability to balance architectural vision with practical delivery timelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.

• Experience building enterprise experiment management or feature flagging platforms.
• Familiarity with big data processing pipelines and real-time analytics frameworks.
• Experience designing and maintaining shared component libraries and developer SDKs.
