🎯 The Role

Intuit is looking for a Staff Software Engineer-Front End in India (Job ID 24939) to drive technical direction, lead frontend architecture, and build AI-integrated customer experiences. You will guide a team of engineers solving complex UI and system design challenges, prototype new concepts from customer insights, and ship scalable web and mobile features.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build and architect frontend applications that power intuitive user experiences at scale.
• Convert customer research and insights into wireframes, mockups, and working proof-of-concept code.
• Lead a small engineering team to tackle complex programming and architectural challenges.
• Provide technical direction by evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving critical engineering issues.
• Identify opportunities to enhance frontend applications with AI, launch AI features into production, and measure their impact on performance and user satisfaction.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers on software craftsmanship, TDD, and AI engineering workflows.

✅ What You'll Need

• 7+ years of hands-on experience building large-scale, consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong command of software architecture, system design, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience building or consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Strong grounding in unit testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), and high-availability web systems.
• Practical skill in building and integrating functional AI capabilities using prompting and AutoML, plus monitoring models in production.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across product managers, data scientists, and engineering peers.
