🎯 The Role

As a Software Engineer on the Microsoft Search, Assistant, and Intelligence (MSAI) team, you will be instrumental in powering mainline Response experiences for Copilot across M365 endpoints. This is a unique opportunity to design and build AI-enabled frontend solutions in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment while prioritizing the end-user experience.

💼 What You'll Do

• Deliver seamless, AI-driven web experiences that redefine how millions of users work.
• Take full ownership of the software development lifecycle, from technical architecture to Live Site operations.
• Work closely with world-class engineers across varying M365 Copilot teams to ensure unified product quality.
• Build and maintain critical telemetry pipelines and automated alerts for robust service health.
• Translate data feedback into actionable design and reliability improvements.

✅ What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on frontend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for major cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of software fundamentals, algorithms, accessibility (a11y), and web performance.
• Experience contributing to shared design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

• Familiarity with NLP concepts or chatbot development.
• A proven track record of navigating ambiguity in fast-paced teams.
