🎯 The Role

As a Software Engineer, Web (Frontend) at Headout, you will join an agile product pod building high-performance web applications. You will have the opportunity to take full ownership of features end-to-end—from initial architecture to production release—collaborating closely with product managers and product designers to deliver responsive, intuitive consumer experiences.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Own product features end-to-end from design handoff through production deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to refine user journeys and polish interface interactions.
• Optimize client-side performance, loading speeds, and cross-browser compatibility across diverse devices.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, maintain code quality, and improve development workflows within your pod.

✅ What You'll Need

• 1+ year of professional experience in frontend web development, preferably within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of core web fundamentals: semantic HTML, modern CSS, and responsive layout techniques.
• Experience with Git workflow and basic web performance optimization practices.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to tackle complex product challenges.
