🎯 The Role

The Apple Cloud UI team is responsible for delivering the core web portal experience that engineers across Apple use to interact with cloud infrastructure and APIs. In this role, you will lead frontend feature development as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), partnering closely with Human Interface designers, backend engineering teams, and product managers to deliver fast, highly polished user interfaces.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain production features for the Apple Cloud web portal using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate directly with Human Interface (HI) designers to create clean, responsive, and accessible UI components.
• Drive projects from requirement gathering to production deployment as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI).
• Interface with diverse backend API teams to model and integrate data streams cleanly on the client.
• Implement unit and integration test suites to maintain high code quality and prevent regressions.
• Contribute to internal shared frontend component libraries and developer productivity tooling.
• Research, prototype, and test emerging web technologies, including GenAI workflows, to optimize internal tooling.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience specializing in frontend web application development.
• Deep practical expertise with React and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience integrating complex APIs into production frontend architectures.
• Experience with Node.js and full-stack development patterns.
• Strong understanding of version control with Git and modern testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to own problems end-to-end.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience integrating GenAI capabilities and workflows into web applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and enterprise cloud platforms.
