🎯 The Role

As a Senior UI / Full Stack Engineer on Cisco's Industrial IoT (IIoT) team in Bengaluru, you will lead the creation of user-centric web applications that manage industrial switching and routing products. Working on Catalyst Centre integration, you will transform massive telemetry streams and network topologies into intuitive, secure, and performant management workflows for mission-critical utilities, smart manufacturing, and energy infrastructure.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and deliver scalable, secure web interfaces for industrial networking devices and Catalyst Centre.
• Bridge raw industrial operational data with accessible, high-efficiency operator user experiences.
• Collaborate across product management, UX designers, and backend engineering teams to deliver features end to end.
• Implement secure coding standards, token-based authentication (JWT), and runtime performance optimizations.
• Establish thorough test automation strategies using Jest and Enzyme to guarantee enterprise reliability.
• Mentor engineering teammates and guide architectural discussions for frontend initiatives.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience (or 6–10 years with a Master's degree) focused on web UI delivery.
• Advanced proficiency with JavaScript and modern React.js application design.
• Solid experience interfacing with REST APIs, handling asynchronous state, and integrating JWT authentication.
• Demonstrated mastery of frontend test tooling (Jest, Enzyme) and web build bundlers (Webpack, Babel).
• Foundational familiarity or exposure to Java backend architectures.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Hands-on familiarity with networking protocols (L2/L3 switching and routing).
• Cisco networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE).
• Experience with AI-assisted developer automation workflows.
