🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Engineer on the Voltron team, you will build and support the shared platform driving Cisco Umbrella and Secure Service Edge experiences. You will design reliable platform capabilities, micro frontend architectures, and component libraries that enable internal product teams to ship secure, cohesive web applications faster.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Micro Frontends, Component Libraries
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, CloudFront), Jenkins, CI/CD
• Protocols & Tools: REST HTTP APIs, Git

💼 What You'll Do

• Build, test, and maintain features within the DashX shell, React microapps, and shared UI libraries.
• Deliver documented APIs, configuration hooks, and reusable components for partner integration.
• Analyze production telemetry and test results to boost UI performance and system reliability.
• Support secure releases across authenticated APIs, AWS workloads, and automated delivery pipelines.
• Investigate operational signals and defects to continuously improve test suites and monitoring.

✅ What You'll Need

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of production experience building web apps with React, TypeScript, and micro frontend systems.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS cloud services or infrastructure as code.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with HTTP APIs, authentication mechanisms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid experience in Git-based source control and code review workflows.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Background in SaaS, security, or multi-tenant product environments.
• Exposure to systems programming languages like Rust, Go, or Python.
