🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Sharing team, you will build the consumer-facing surfaces and client infrastructure that power how players capture, edit, share, and discover content on Roblox Moments. You will lead frontend architecture while collaborating with backend media service teams to deliver high-throughput, latency-sensitive experiences.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• React, modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• Redux, client-side state architecture
• RESTful services, GraphQL
• Luau runtime systems

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect responsive creation, sharing, and viewing interfaces for Roblox Moments
• Drive technical initiatives from concept through architecture, testing, and production
• Optimize render performance, memory consumption, and client-side media pipelines
• Partner with product managers, safety specialists, and platform engineers
• Mentor teammates and conduct thorough technical code reviews

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years building complex web or client applications in production environments
• Deep expertise in React composition, hooks, and scalable state management
• Strong fundamentals in browser layout, rendering performance, and data flows
• Hands-on experience integrating clients with REST or GraphQL APIs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• Experience building consumer mobile/web products with rich media creation tools
• Exposure to gaming platforms or game engine runtimes
