As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer on the Luau App Foundations team, you will shape the architecture and technical foundation of Roblox's primary consumer surfaces, including Home, Avatar, and Search. You will design scalable UI systems, establish state management and data-flow patterns, and build reusable component frameworks that empower dozens of product engineers to ship high-performance features reliably.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of software development experience with substantial focus on user-facing frontend applications
- Proven background architecting complex frontend infrastructure for large-scale, high-traffic consumer products
- Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks such as React
- Strong grasp of component architecture, state management patterns (Redux/Flux), and clean API design
- Demonstrated ability in client-side performance optimization, debugging, and profiling
- Track record of delivering applications across multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, Desktop)
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaborative technical leadership
