🎯 The Role

As a Principal Frontend Software Engineer on the Enterprise Agility team, you will shape and drive the frontend architecture connecting business strategy to software execution at enterprise scale. Focused on Jira Align and new agility initiatives, you will build intuitive platforms from the ground up, set technical standards, and guide engineering teams toward robust, scalable delivery.

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the architecture and end-to-end frontend development for Jira Align and new enterprise agility products.
• Establish engineering standards to improve operational reliability, security, and rendering performance.
• Evaluate customer impact and technical tradeoffs to guide platform-level design decisions.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture that encourages continuous learning.
• Partner with cross-functional product, UX, and platform stakeholders across distributed time zones.
• Maintain high reliability and oversee ongoing operations for the frontend services you design.

✅ What You'll Need

• 10+ years of professional experience building and scaling enterprise web applications with React.
• Deep mastery of modern frontend ecosystems, build tooling, linting, testing, and release pipelines.
• Demonstrated success mentoring junior and mid-level engineers in agile environments.
• Practical experience with microservices architectures, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS services such as EC2, S3, and SQS.
• Working knowledge of event-driven architectures and data synchronization via pub/sub models.
• Location in the US Pacific or Mountain time zones for full-time remote collaboration.
