🎯 The Role

Inception42 is seeking a hands-on Principal Frontend Engineer to lead architectural vision and delivery across its suite of AI platforms. In this senior leadership position, you will define frontend standards, guide system design across distributed squads, and build responsive, accessible web applications that interface with real-time AI inference models. You will partner with product design, machine learning teams, and backend infrastructure to create intuitive interfaces for complex computational workflows.

💼 What You'll Do

• Own and evolve frontend system architecture across multiple enterprise AI applications and shared UI repositories
• Write clean, production-grade TypeScript code while establishing design patterns for state management, data caching, and routing
• Build and govern cross-product design systems to ensure consistency, WCAG accessibility, and rapid engineering velocity
• Optimize application performance across Core Web Vitals, SSR rendering pathways, asset delivery, and bundle execution
• Design resilient client architectures that stream real-time data from LLMs and backend services over WebSockets and SSE
• Establish automated testing standards covering unit, integration, and visual regression pipelines
• Mentor engineering talent, conduct architecture reviews, and raise the bar for frontend craftsmanship across squads

✅ What You'll Need

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in frontend web architecture
• Extensive background shipping complex enterprise applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Proven experience designing and scaling reusable design systems across multi-team engineering organizations
• In-depth understanding of rendering models, server-side rendering, hydration, and runtime browser profiling
• Experience building streaming or event-driven frontend clients consuming WebSockets or Server-Sent Events
• Strong foundation in automated testing methodologies using tools like Jest, RTL, or Playwright
• Demonstrated track record of technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring engineers
• Ability to work onsite at the Inception42 offices in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience designing interfaces for AI, machine learning tooling, streaming generative responses, or human-in-the-loop workflows
• Hands-on knowledge of micro frontends, Module Federation, or multi-tenant web platforms
• Familiarity with backend-for-frontend (BFF) layers, Node.js runtimes, and cloud-native container environments
• Contributions to open-source software libraries or active participation in the frontend developer community
