🎯 The Role

As a Lead Software Engineer focusing on React Frontend within the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will be a core technical contributor on an agile team tasked with delivering secure, stable, and scalable web products. You will guide critical frontend technology solutions, establish architectural design patterns, foster adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools, and mentor engineers to ensure delivery excellence across financial business units.

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the design, execution, and troubleshooting of modern frontend architectures for enterprise investment banking applications.
• Author secure, high-quality production code in React and TypeScript while conducting peer reviews and eliminating architectural bottlenecks.
• Promote team adoption of authorized AI-assisted software development practices (code refactoring, automated testing, and incident debugging) with stringent validation controls.
• Drive frontend solutions that avoid single points of failure, ensuring operational stability and business resilience.
• Partner with cross-functional product and engineering squads to deliver cloud-native microservices applications.
• Coach and mentor junior and mid-level engineers on responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and clean code principles.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of applied professional software engineering experience with modern frontend stacks.
• Deep practical proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS preprocessors (Sass/LESS).
• Thorough understanding of modern design patterns, software development lifecycles, and agile methodologies.
• Strong comprehension of UI/UX principles, cross-device responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Experience leveraging and establishing validation workflows for approved AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, application security principles, and resilient architecture design.
