🎯 The Role
As the Lead Frontend Engineer (reporting directly to the VP of Engineering), you will direct frontend architecture and lead a dedicated team of engineers scaling from 3 to 5+ developers. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will build core features across cross-platform web and hybrid mobile applications, shape UI architecture, and integrate cutting-edge AI workflows.

💼 What You'll Do
- Own the frontend user experience end-to-end across consumer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Architect modular, high-performance UI systems in Angular and Ionic with clean state management.
- Write production code daily, balancing rapid feature delivery with robust architectural foundations.
- Collaborate directly with product designers and engineering leadership to convert product roadmaps into reality.
- Introduce AI-assisted engineering practices, automated reviews, and intelligent development workflows.
- Mentor team members, conduct thorough code reviews, and recruit top frontend engineering talent.
✅ What You'll Need
- Demonstrated track record delivering complex, customer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, component lifecycles, and client-side performance profiling.
- Solid experience in Angular, Ionic, or modern component frameworks with the ability to ramp rapidly.
- Proven leadership ability guiding frontend engineers and elevating team engineering standards.
- High comfort level with ambiguity and a bias toward pragmatic, user-centric shipping.
- Located in the Eastern Hemisphere with availability to overlap with APAC / EMEA working hours.

- Prior background deploying hybrid mobile apps via Capacitor, Cordova, or native mobile wrappers.
- Practical experience using AI coding agents and LLM APIs in day-to-day engineering.
