🎯 The Role

HighLevel is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Revex Platform team. This team provides the shared foundation for over 25 product teams, powering the entire revex vertical. The role involves supporting and optimizing over 35 frontend applications and 100+ backend services, focusing on developer experience, system health, and driving measurable improvements in productivity, reliability, and deployment speed.

💼 What You'll Do

• Drive developer experience and system health metrics across the revex vertical, ensuring compliance with latest standards.
• Implement measurable improvements in developer productivity, system reliability, observability, and deployment speed for numerous frontend and backend services.
• Research and adopt modern tools, including AI-powered solutions, to accelerate development and reduce repetitive tasks.
• Identify and resolve recurring pain points and bottlenecks across engineering teams with scalable solutions.
• Address complex UI performance and reactivity issues to deliver fast, consistent user experiences at scale.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices throughout the organization.
• Continuously enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing, monitoring, alerting, and overall developer experience.
• Mentor engineers, lead architectural discussions, conduct code reviews, and promote technical excellence and ownership.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security concerns in a multi-tenant environment.

✅ What You'll Need

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in frontend development.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, and experience building full-stack web applications.
• Previous experience integrating or building AI-powered developer tools to enhance productivity.
• Strong hands-on backend experience with Node.js and Cloud Platform; familiarity with Cloudflare CDN is a plus.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, asynchronous job processing, and queuing systems.
• A proven track record of architecting complex systems and delivering scalable, high-performance web applications in production.
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, API design, and microservices architecture in multi-tenant environments.
• Skills in guiding technical architecture, making high-impact engineering decisions, and mentoring fellow engineers.
• Experience with code quality practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and dev tooling optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and clear, collaborative communication across cross-functional teams.
