🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Industries team within Special Projects, you will engineer frontend-heavy, specialized product experiences tailored to unique commercial verticals such as restaurants, healthcare, fitness, and home services. You will design and implement complex client-side tools, including interactive visual floor-plan editors, calendar resources, and adaptive configuration interfaces.

• Frontend Core: Vue 3, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Interactive Graphics: Canvas / SVG rendering (Konva, Fabric.js, PixiJS)
• Backend & APIs: Node.js, NestJS, REST, WebSockets
• Data & Caching: PostgreSQL, Firestore, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Testing & Tooling: Playwright, Automated Testing, Git, CI/CD

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and build high-performance client interfaces using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Develop complex visual editors (floor plans, drag-and-drop scheduling, resource timelines, and setup workflows).
• Design extensible, schema-driven UI components that handle vertical-specific business entities without code duplication.
• Optimize web client performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across desktop and shared tablet screens.
• Develop and extend full-stack APIs in Node.js and NestJS to support client state consistency and real-time synchronization.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor peer engineers to elevate engineering standards.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on frontend web development and complex architectures.
• Deep expertise in Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred) or a modern reactive framework, alongside TypeScript and CSS.
• Proven track record building interactive graphical interfaces (canvas, SVG, drag-and-drop, or data-dense dashboards).
• Solid understanding of client-side state management, async workflows, and runtime performance profiling.
• Capable full-stack skills in Node.js, API design, and relational/document databases.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with canvas rendering libraries such as Konva, Fabric.js, or PixiJS.
• Background developing design systems, form builders, or metadata-driven UI generators.
• Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright.
