🎯 The Role
ClickHouse is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Billing Engineering team remotely within EMEA. You will design, build, and maintain the mission-critical cloud platform services that handle customer metering, usage-based invoicing, self-serve subscription portals, and major cloud marketplace integrations.

💼 What You'll Do
- Design and implement user-facing billing dashboards, payment flows, and metering telemetry interfaces.
- Build resilient backend microservices and serverless workflows to process real-time customer usage data.
- Integrate with cloud provider marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure) and global payment processors.
- Partner with finance, product, and platform engineering teams to maintain compliance and billing accuracy.
- Diagnose and solve complex distributed system failures across production environments.
- Drive architectural improvements to simplify infrastructure complexity and raise system availability.
✅ What You'll Need
- 5+ years of professional software development experience building cloud-scale applications with frontend and backend components.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, modern React, and server-side Node.js.
- Working knowledge of billing concepts such as payment gateways, metering, subscription lifecycles, and sales tax.
- Practical experience building and operating distributed cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong track record of technical ownership, autonomous execution, and root-cause production debugging.
