🎯 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript / Frontend) on the AI/ML Engineering team, you will build and operate ClickHouse's machine learning and agentic products end-to-end. You will bridge low-latency database engines with intuitive frontend surfaces—including the Agentic Data Stack, AI Functions, chDB, and the in-Console copilot—making complex AI systems accessible, reliable, and delightful for developers and data scientists.

💼 What You'll Do

• Design and build intuitive, responsive web interfaces within ClickHouse Cloud that bring AI capabilities to life.
• Collaborate with AI/ML systems engineers to create robust APIs connecting database pipelines to inference models.
• Implement data-oriented interfaces, interactive queries, and visualizations for complex analytical and vector workloads.
• Integrate production ML models with comprehensive monitoring, observability, and evaluation.
• Build developer-facing tools, console features, and documentation that accelerate the adoption of ClickHouse AI/ML.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong frontend engineering proficiency with TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and React.
• Hands-on experience building user-facing web applications that interact with complex backend APIs.
• High level of ownership and autonomy to drive features from architectural concept to production.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse global stakeholders.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML technologies, inference APIs, or vector databases.
• Experience building data-intensive interfaces or charting/visualization tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or ClickHouse database internals.
