🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer on the internal tools engineering team at Tesla India, you will build and evolve the software platforms that facilitate process management for the design, permitting, and installation of Tesla energy and vehicle products. You will design reliable, configurable web applications that empower operations teams to standardize, automate, and monitor complex installation workflows end-to-end.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• Angular architecture and component design patterns
• Modern JavaScript (ES6+), semantic HTML5, and CSS3
• Core web fundamentals: DOM manipulation, HTTP, REST, and AJAX
• Frontend tooling and package managers: Vite, NPM, Yarn
• Relational databases and SQL querying
• GraphQL API integration

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain intuitive user interfaces for enterprise workflow management software
• Write clean, performant, and well-tested code following team architectural standards
• Build comprehensive unit and integration tests and partner with QA teams on continuous release cycles
• Monitor system health, respond to operational alerts, and resolve production bugs
• Own features from initial technical discovery and specification through to production launch

✅ What You'll Need

• 2+ years of professional web engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend systems
• Thorough understanding of Angular design principles, component hierarchies, and RxJS patterns
• Solid foundation in web fundamentals: DOM rendering, asynchronous operations, HTTP protocols, and REST APIs
• Practical experience using modern frontend build tools such as Vite, NPM, or Yarn
• Understanding of database querying and ability to interact with relational SQL databases
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical background

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience designing or consuming GraphQL interfaces
• Prior experience building internal operational tools, ERP systems, or workflow automation platforms
