🎯 The Role

As a Staff Frontend Engineer within the ECS team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the membership experience for Experian's direct-to-consumer website. This hybrid position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new functionalities, utilizing cutting-edge web frameworks, and contributing to a high-performance micro-frontend solution. You will be instrumental in prototyping, developing, and integrating best-in-class responsive web components.

💼 What You'll Do

• Utilize industry-leading web frameworks and technologies in a high-performance micro-frontend solution.
• Prototype, develop, test, and integrate best-in-class responsive web components.
• Work independently, offering insights and analysis on existing codebases.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure software engineering best practices are maintained.
• Integrate with RESTful web services in the AWS cloud from multi-tiered web applications.
• Optimize existing code and develop reusable patterns to improve team velocity.
• Participate actively in the full SDLC/Agile cycle, including design and estimation.

✅ What You'll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• 8-10 years of experience in frontend development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• 4+ years building responsive single-page web applications with Angular or React/Redux.
• Mandatory experience with TypeScript in Angular or React projects.
• Strong understanding of unit testing with Jest or similar libraries, along with E2E testing.
• Experience building secure, accessible, and high-performance software.
• Proficiency with Cloud/Hybrid Cloud AWS solutions and Git SCM.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and direction.

• Experience working with Web Components and Lit.
• Behavior-driven design (BDD) experience.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
