🎯 The Role

As a Lead Frontend Software Engineer at Experian, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of their products. This hybrid position in Hyderabad involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable UI component library. You will collaborate closely with UX designers and product managers, ensuring all interfaces meet WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA accessibility standards and maintain design consistency across various platforms, including mobile. Your expertise in React.js and TypeScript will be crucial in building high-performance, responsive applications, while also mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

💼 What You'll Do

• Partner with UX designers to translate design concepts into reusable, responsive components.
• Lead the development and maintenance of a centralized UI component library, ensuring scalability and consistency.
• Advocate for and implement WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA accessibility standards across all components and interfaces.
• Develop high-performance, responsive applications using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Optimize applications for mobile platforms and collaborate with Flutter teams for design consistency.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend trends and emerging technologies.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA compliance.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining design systems or comprehensive UI component libraries.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development tooling.
