🎯 The Role

As a Staff Frontend Engineer within the Micro Frontend Platform team, you will be responsible for defining and building the next-generation user interfaces that power Coupang's vast ecosystem. This role focuses entirely on frontend architecture, low-latency rendering, and high-performance user experiences for systems exposed directly to millions of active daily users.

💼 What You'll Do

• Engineer modular and reusable user interface architectures across consumer-facing surfaces.
• Maximize application responsiveness, loading efficiency, and low-latency metrics in high-traffic environments.
• Deliver consumer-first products by managing end-to-end frontend performance and infrastructure health.
• Partner extensively with cross-functional product owners, design leads, and backend engineering teams.

✅ What You'll Need

• At least 7 to 8+ years of professional web application engineering experience.
• Comprehensive expertise with contemporary frameworks including React, Vue, and core JavaScript mechanisms.
• Background building scalable, large-scale consumer (B2C) applications.
• Strong handling of modern client-side performance tuning, browser lifecycles, and network networking stacks.
• Capable integration skills using Node.js for backend collaboration layers.

• Production experience spanning multiple frontend paradigms or frameworks simultaneously.
• Mastery in building reusable component frameworks and distributed micro-frontend applications.
• Experience working within highly active consumer verticals such as fintech, e-commerce, or transportation apps.
