🎯 The Role
Nokia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - UI to join the MantaRay NM engineering group in Bengaluru. MantaRay NM is an advanced network management platform providing telecommunications carriers with automated orchestration, fault isolation, and deep operational analytics. In this role, you will lead frontend architectural decisions, deliver cloud-native web user interfaces, integrate with microservices, and automate testing and deployment pipelines.

💼 What You'll Do
- Design, architect, and implement resilient web UI features with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and secure coding practices

- Incorporate Agentic AI practices and developer tooling into the everyday software development workflow
- Provide technical mentorship and conduct thorough code reviews to foster strong engineering practices across junior team members
✅ What You'll Need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focusing on frontend and web technologies (JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience in containerized cloud-native workflows using Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Proven background with CI/CD build tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins, Git, and Linux administration
- Solid track record designing and maintaining end-to-end UI automated testing suites
- Experience integrating frontend clients with RESTful services and microservice architectures
🌟 Nice to Have
- Exposure to Java for backend service coordination and Helm chart configuration
- Practical experience with Agile frameworks, sprint planning, or Scrum Master responsibilities
- In-depth understanding of enterprise secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC)
