🎯 The Role
You will join the engineering team responsible for The Roku Channel, a global streaming service impacting millions of users. Your work will involve building and optimizing apps for major platforms like FireTV, GoogleTV, web browsers, and smart TVs.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture and implementation of technology solutions for media-heavy web apps.
- Collaborate across Roku's global engineering teams to deliver world-class media playbacks.
- Drive innovation in user experience, reliability, and app stability.
- Participate in end-to-end development, from scoping and design to support and monitoring.
✅ What You'll Need
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of professional web development experience at scale.
- Deep understanding of component-based architecture and async operations.
- Strong analytical abilities and experience with distributed system monitoring.
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience with Backend-For-Frontend (BFF) paradigms.
- Knowledge of DRM systems and media playback on mobile (iOS/Android).
