🎯 The Role
ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Unified Employee Experience (UEX) engineering team in Hyderabad. In this hands-on frontend role, you will design and implement the user interfaces behind EmployeeWorks, Employee Center, and Employee Center Pro. You will create AI-first, responsive web experiences designed to run with low latency on real devices and real networks, focusing on browser mechanics, accessibility, and high reusability.

💼 What You'll Do
- Build, test, and ship responsive frontend features and custom web components from design to production
- Develop modular UI components for consumption across multiple product squads within the organization

- Debug complex issues across client applications and connected backend services to resolve root causes
- Write automated test suites to ensure backward compatibility and reliable release cycles
- Participate in design architecture and code reviews, maintaining high code quality across the team
- Leverage AI development assistants to enhance workflow efficiency and integrate LLM features into client interfaces
- Mentor early-career engineers and collaborate closely with product management and design teams
✅ What You'll Need
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with substantial focus on frontend web development
- Strong command of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, object-oriented design, and component architecture
- Working knowledge of component frameworks such as React, Lit, or Vue, along with native Web Components
- In-depth understanding of browser architecture, including DOM manipulation, event loops, and network lifecycles
- Hands-on experience debugging and profiling web application performance under load
- Experience authoring and maintaining automated unit and integration tests for web codebases
- Familiarity with backend languages or environments (Node.js, Java, Python, or Go)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering field
