🎯 The Role

As a Senior or Staff Mobile Web Software Engineer on the Dots team, you will craft the primary mobile browser interface for personal AI agents. Dots develops intelligent assistants capable of learning personal preferences, operating across applications, and executing autonomous multi-step tasks. In this role, you will build interfaces that allow people to initiate workflows, track agent actions in real time, and guide continuous execution with clarity and control.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and deliver mobile web interfaces enabling users to configure tasks, monitor ongoing agent actions, and provide dynamic feedback.
• Build resilient UI state machines that manage live streaming data, background processes, connection drops, and session recovery.
• Maximize mobile web responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, touch response, and accessibility standards across major mobile browsers.
• Partner directly with product designers and researchers to prototype emergent interaction patterns for human-agent oversight.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define client-server contracts, data schemas, and reliable two-way synchronization.
• Elevate frontend engineering standards and mentor team members while maintaining active hands-on code contribution.

• Substantial professional engineering experience delivering high-caliber web applications with deep emphasis on mobile web environments.
• Expert mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive web design, browser runtime engines, and accessibility.
• Proven track record architecting complex client state that handles asynchronous transitions, live updates, and background tasks gracefully.
• High standard for tactile visual polish, smooth animations, and clean design execution paired with pragmatic technical judgment.
• Experience navigating ambiguous product spaces and translating early prototypes into robust production software.
