🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer on the ChatGPT Space team, you will build a collaborative workspace where teammates and autonomous AI agents transform ideas into structured, editable deliverables. ChatGPT Space bridges conversational AI with interactive creation across Pages, Sheets, Slides, and real-time artifacts. In this role, you will partner closely with designers to craft new interaction models, prototype tactile interfaces, and engineer low-latency, production-ready web experiences.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build, polish, and maintain high-performance frontend interfaces for ChatGPT Space collaborative workflows.
• Partner directly with design teams to bring interactive prototypes into production with meticulous attention to motion, typography, and layout.
• Engineer intuitive canvas interfaces for editing shared content, tracking revision history, and reviewing agent contributions.
• Architect modular component libraries, navigation hierarchies, and client-side caching strategies.
• Optimize web runtime performance, loading transitions, and concurrent mutation resolution.
• Collaborate across platform, model, and research groups to integrate cutting-edge model capabilities into seamless UI flows.

• Substantial engineering experience with modern web stacks (React, TypeScript) and an uncompromising standard for UI craftsmanship.
