🎯 The Role

N1 is looking for a design-oriented Frontend Software Engineer to lead the creation of delightful, high-performance web applications and decentralized interfaces in New York City. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and frontend engineering, owning UI architecture, micro-interactions, and design systems that define how users and developers interact with the blockchain.

💼 What You'll Do

• Spearhead the development of responsive, accessible, and aesthetically refined user interfaces across N1's web products.
• Establish and scale a unified design system and reusable UI component library.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and protocol engineers to turn complex cryptographic and financial concepts into intuitive digital experiences.
• Maintain extreme attention to detail across layouts, typography, spacing, and micro-interactions.
• Rapidly prototype, validate, and ship production-ready interfaces in a fast-paced startup setting.

✅ What You'll Need

• Strong frontend engineering experience with modern technologies including React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Exceptional visual instincts and demonstrable taste in product UI and interaction design.
• A public portfolio, GitHub profile, or side projects showcasing craft, typography, and frontend execution.
• Experience navigating high-velocity startup or high-growth tech environments.
• Practical knowledge of building design systems, reusable components, and polished web experiences.

• Prior experience or genuine interest in Web3, blockchain ecosystems, or decentralized applications.
