🎯 The Role

As a Front End Software Engineer, you will join Procore's Resource Planning Team within the Product & Technology Division. In this highly collaborative role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing features on a robust TypeScript & React frontend. Reporting to an Engineering Manager at the Bengaluru office, you will be a pivotal figure in shaping the team's technical culture, demanding a blend of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

💼 What You'll Do

• Maintain, modernize, and enhance existing legacy codebases.
• Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to design, develop, and deploy new user-facing features using Procore's internal component library.
• Consistently write clean, well-documented, and highly maintainable production code.
• Develop and execute comprehensive automated tests to ensure unwavering code quality and reliability.
• Take deep ownership of system stability, stepping up for incident responses and resolutions.
• Proactively identify and execute opportunities to refactor and optimize existing software architectures.

✅ What You'll Need

• 2+ years of demonstratable experience building sophisticated, highly-trafficked web applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern web development specifically using React and TypeScript.
• Extensive working knowledge and practical experience with foundational JavaScript.
• Highly organized working style with a proven track record of achieving goals autonomously.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and clear communication skills.
