🎯 The Role

As the Senior Manager, Frontend in Pune, you will lead the frontend engineering organization and set the technical direction for the web application platform. This executive role pairs hands-on technical architecture with people leadership, overseeing cross-functional pod delivery, governing shared design systems, fostering team growth, and establishing standards for web performance and accessibility.

💼 What You'll Do

• Establish and evolve the technical roadmap, component architecture, and frontend coding standards across teams.
• Lead sprint planning, execution milestones, and release predictability across multiple frontend pods.
• Partner with product management, design directors, and platform architects to align technology decisions with user experience goals.
• Oversee career development, technical mentorship, hiring, and performance management for senior frontend engineers.
• Champion engineering excellence in web accessibility (WCAG), application responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and client security.
• Evaluate emerging frontend frameworks and tools to make pragmatic, value-driven architectural choices.

✅ What You'll Need

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial frontend application architecture and 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Deep mastery of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React application design.
• Proven history designing scalable frontend architectures for high-traffic SaaS systems.
• Demonstrated success recruiting, coaching, and growing high-performing engineering talent.
• Strong background establishing standards for automated testing, observability, and performance budgets.
• Articulate written and verbal communication skills across both executive and technical audiences.
