🎯 The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the EMEA team, you will design, build, and maintain both user-facing interfaces and backend services across Deel's core product suite. You will partner with product managers, designers, and infrastructure teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions that power global workforce management and international payroll processing.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect and implement responsive, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build server-side business logic, data models, and RESTful APIs using Express.
• Model relational databases, optimize complex queries, and manage schemas in PostgreSQL.
• Create modular UI components, hooks, and design system elements documented in Storybook.
• Ensure robust code reliability through comprehensive automated testing across Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions and development standards.

✅ What You'll Need

• At least 8 years of full-stack engineering experience, with deep specialization in TypeScript.
• Hands-on expertise architecting, developing, and testing production applications with React and Express.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and asynchronous services in microservice environments.
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a remote-first, globally distributed setting.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Familiarity with NestJS, Vite, or Next.js.
• Experience operating 24/7 cloud applications and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in fintech, payroll processing, or global compliance platforms.
