🎯 The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Deel, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of both front-end and back-end components of Deel’s global platform. You will ensure seamless integration across systems, working within a cross-functional team alongside Product, Design, and DevOps to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions for global workforce and payroll services.

🛠️ Tech Stack

The role involves developing with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express. Experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus. Database interactions will primarily be with Postgres. The team also values understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, asynchronous programming, and experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library, and Cypress. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is also beneficial.

💼 What You'll Do

• Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express.
• Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic, primarily with Express.
• Create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with Postgres.
• Build reusable and modular components for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with emerging web development trends and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

• At least 8 years of full-stack experience, with a strong focus on TypeScript development.
• Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the specified technologies.
