🎯 The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Razorpay, you will be pivotal in building solid frontend foundations, infrastructure, and delivering top-notch user experiences. You will work collaboratively with backend developers, graphic designers, and UX designers to ensure consistency across all web creation elements. This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills to translate wireframes into functional UI components, optimize web applications, and champion usability and accessibility standards. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, contributing to their growth and development within the team.

💼 What You'll Do

• Develop high-quality and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement and maintain frontend frameworks and libraries, primarily React.
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of UI components.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend interfaces with server-side logic and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements.
