🎯 The Role

As a Lead Frontend Engineer at LSEG in Bengaluru, you will be a pivotal member of the engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and enhancing modern web applications that power key business platforms. 💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, user-friendly web applications using Angular.
• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate seamlessly with backend engineers to ensure robust API integration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, contributing to technical decisions through code reviews.
• Continuously improve application performance, accessibility, and overall usability.
• Contribute to backend development efforts utilizing Node.js and related technologies.
• Drive the modernization of existing applications, transitioning them towards scalable and cloud-native solutions.
• Work effectively within Agile product and engineering teams to deliver features efficiently.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to guarantee reliable system performance.

✅ What You'll Need

• 10+ years of extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
• Deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience with Node.js for backend contributions.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with RESTful APIs and their integration.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Proficiency with development tools such as Git, Continuous Integration Pipelines, and Jira.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive and contribute effectively within Agile team environments.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong communication skills.

• Experience with Full Stack development methodologies.
