🎯 The Role
As a Fullstack Engineer at Deel, you will be part of a cross-functional team, contributing to product planning from discovery to deployment. You will fully own the development of features across client, server, service, and database layers, ensuring a white-glove experience for customers. This role involves collaborating to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improving industry-leading products.

The core technologies for this role include TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Express, and PostgreSQL. Experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus. The role also involves working with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library, and Cypress, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
💼 What You'll Do
- Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, Javascript, React, and Express.
- Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic primarily with the Express framework.
- Create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with Postgres.
- Build reusable and modular components for both front and back ends to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with emerging web development trends and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
